Inclusion

I recognise that the society in which I have been raised and the institutions in which I have been educated strongly favour the needs of the dominant groups (white, cisgender, straight, neurotypical, able-bodied people) and have actually been rigged against marginalised communities.   ​​

I do not want to perpetuate discrimination and oppression you may have experienced elsewhere due to race, gender, ability, sexuality, or identity.  I will do everything I can to include and accommodate you within the Circles I facilitate.

I am committed to the ongoing process of engaging with my privilege and unconscious biases.  I will continue to take opportunities to learn and develop in this area so as not to place unjust expectations on others to "teach" me what they need.​  I will be as sensitive as possible, invite requests for accommodations and make myself available for feedback on an consistent basis.  ​
